Early Brian Leahy art. Age 8 or 9. I liked finding out that even back then I was drawing trees and mountains. But I grew up on the ocean. Maybe that explains the killer whale in the lake
My largest painting yet has achieved finishment. Es final.
Created with Liquitex acrylics on wood, “Loomer” measures 4.3′ x 3.6′. This painting was developed when I was given the mural project in Lafayette (see previous post) and was completed at the same time. It ended up having its own personality.

When I finish a piece I write details about its life on the back, like the time period and what albums I was listening to most at the time. The phrase “Look Up” sums up my perspective on life. Positive minds create their own positive world. B$#$%.
It was super cool painting at this size. I plan on going bigger next time.
