NEW PAINTING ALERT
Tuesday, December 30th, 2014It’s done! The official debut of “Don’t Be Afraid Of Starting Over”. 4 x 6′ acrylic on wood. Hanging now @ Twig Salon, 1831 Pearl Street, Boulder, CO 80302, through March 2015. (Click for closer view)
This painting gets its name from one of my favorite Foster The People songs, “Pseudologia Fantastica”. (And for anyone who might be confused out there, it was referred to in earlier posts as “Refused To Settle”. But the ‘Don’t Be Afraid of Starting Over’ tagline was always on the back, and in the end I felt like it summed up the idea of the painting better)
2014 has been one of the best years of my life so far. Looking forward to 2015. Happy New Year everyone!

Here are some things. Recently.
LOOMER
Wednesday, June 5th, 2013My largest painting yet has achieved finishment. Es final.
Created with Liquitex acrylics on wood, “Loomer” measures 4.3′ x 3.6′. This painting was developed when I was given the mural project in Lafayette (see previous post) and was completed at the same time. It ended up having its own personality.
WINNING. Below you can see some shots of the painting in progress
When I finish a piece I write details about its life on the back, like the time period and what albums I was listening to most at the time. The phrase “Look Up” sums up my perspective on life. Positive minds create their own positive world. B$#$%.
It was super cool painting at this size. I plan on going bigger next time.
NEW PAINTING
Tuesday, April 23rd, 2013There’s a mural in the works, here in Brian town. I am teaming up with a cool organization in Lafayette that helps kidz get mo’ art in their lives – killer idea – and I will be painting a mural with them soon (more info on that to follow). To figure out what I want to do there I started my largest painting yet last week (it’s on wood – also a 1st for me). He’s taken on a life of his own now. Have to have it finished in 3 days, so you won’t even have to wait long to see it done!
Here you can see the sketch I did for the painting:
